Inicat cross body bag got a glow up this week. And just in time for a special event where I could give it a test run.
Faux leather, @supertiteadhesives 2-part worked wonderfully. All in all, it took 5 hours to complete the front face of the bag. @thecrystalninja Crystal Katana made the job go smoothly!
This is my first @inicat_brand - I love the quality of the construction and the hardware. The strap might still be my favorite.
Next up, the larger version.

A morning outing to one of my absolute favorite #employeeowned businesses. I’m a frequent online supporter 😆 but. To be in person - ah-mazing!
In addition to the overall @kingarthurbaking experience, it was so good to see the people and their passion for all they do. And to just experience everything they offer in person!
The building was masterfully built and laid out. The grounds were immaculate and the flowers outstanding - especially for this late in the season.
I don’t know if I’ll ever be here again in my lifetime, so savoring it and soaking it in. We also had a few takeaways - including fresh pastries and doughnuts and bread - so there’s that. 😝

The quiet of ocean waves and a breeze.
Outer Banks never disappoints - every day is unique and brings sheer, natural beauty. The peace and serenity is good for the soul. The ocean brings a grounding I cannot find anywhere else. Even the rain, thunder, and occasional raucous neighbors (or was that us?) brings joy. Happiness is being surrounded by family and I’m so thankful for this time together.
