Creating the projects and writing this book was such a pleasure. It gave me the best reason to lose myself in “my work.” It also allowed me the freedom to create projects and designs that spoke to me, with the hope they speak to you, too.
The projects were outlined as a place to start and then progress in complexity to provide challenges while supporting you for success. The finished pieces are designed to entice and empower you whether metal clay is new to you, if you have tried the material but didn’t find the success you were hoping for, or to call you back to metal clay if you tried it and moved on to other things.
Sessions filled with great ideas, inspirational stories, everyday little joys, and life's big dreams. Each week, my guests and I discuss topics such as creating, the maker's life, business challenges and successes!

Happy Spring! How are you celebrating?
I spent quite a bit of time updating my website (behind the scenes stuff). Played with some new ai tools. A little Snapchat filter fun (the first image 😝).
Captured our first signs of spring - snowdrops - which are so special to us as not only are they first to emerge from sleep they serve as a reminder of those who have passed.
Some daffies, cause who doesn’t smile when they emerge from their slumber?
@remington_remy_rem_boxer is also feeling a little springtime vibe - this is a quick clip of his normal reaction to warmer temps. 🤦♀️
Just another day around here.
Thankfully also a little warmer.
Please pop over to my site if it’s been a while. And sign up for my newsletter@if you haven’t yet. Would love to stay in touch ✨💜✨

Life is good. And it’s important to slow down and enjoy the moments.
Easier said than done. I know. But we must! 💜
Last night we enjoyed the company of good friends during an impromptu happy hour date.
We enjoyed good food, good drinks, and lots of laughs.
We had Jewelry conversations, of course, but the focus was just being together and enjoying a night out.
I wish a happy moment or two for you today and some time with friends to just be. It fills your heart and soul and helps things slow down, just a bit. 💜
The last pic is a long-distant friend spreading smiles with a tool delivery.

Ready for a quick DIY lip gloss overview? It’s so super easy and just takes a few ingredients to make your own. I hope this helps you in your way.
A few highlights:
Castor oil makes a great base and provides so many benefits.
You can add in other oil like vitamin e, but try castor for the base.
You can omit or use more beet root (or other natural colorant) to achieve the vibrancy you like. This batch looks like it will have a lot of color but it really doesn’t.
Add essential oils for extra ✨
I LOVE peppermint or spearmint oils.
Citrus oils could cause phototoxicity (sensitivity if you use them while out in the sun) - so I avoid them in something like this.
I would prefer a traditional lip gloss wand to the rollerball but had a hard time finding a small vial made of glass for the right price or right shipping time frame, so used what I had on hand.
Shake before use to blend the beet root - it likes to settle out of the oil.
Enjoy!

Have you ever waited for an answer you find you hold your breath each time you check the mail or the messages?
And as you scan for the note and prepare to open it or steel yourself as you listen to the reply, you tell yourself it’s okay. No big deal. Rejection is still a step forward.
All the things you know to be true and all the things you offer others also facing scary things.
But the whole time, if you’re being honest with yourself you still hope for the positive answer and approval and acceptance?
I’m in that phase now. Putting myself out there like I haven’t before. Pushing my own boundaries. Knowing it’s yet another way I could fall flat on my face.
Knowing even if there’s a welcome at the end of that message. Or a nod of acceptance. There is still risk. As you might still not be good enough.
I’m in that zone now. BUT. Each day it’s one more step forward. One more step into the next step.
If you’re with me on the path, let me know. I’d love to cheer for you. And support you as you face your own doubts, fears, and demons.
I got into my first show. And will now make the hard choice of accepting or politely declining their invitation.
Am I good enough to take the financial risk? I need to look in the mirror and figure that out.
